Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Matrix Edge website and the services described on it. The site is an informational and marketing platform: trading itself is executed with licensed legal entities engaged for that purpose. By using the site you accept these terms as written.

1. Use of the website and services

You may use this site and the platform for lawful personal purposes connected with the services offered: learning about the platform, registering an account, communicating with support, and, once onboarded, using the tools described in our product pages. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it current. The services are offered to users in Trinidad and Tobago and from the cross-border desk where permitted, and you confirm you are at least eighteen years old and not legally restricted from using financial services.

2. Restrictions

You may not misrepresent your identity, share account access, or operate an account on behalf of an undisclosed third party. Automated scraping of the site, bulk downloading of its content, and interference with platform operation are outside the licence these terms grant. Where the platform provides market data and analytics, they are for your own decision-making and may not be redistributed commercially. Activity that would breach these restrictions may result in suspension while the matter is reviewed.

3. Marketing materials and information communications

From time to time we send service emails, market commentary and platform updates to registered users. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent and every one carries a working unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. You can also change your communication preferences from your account settings at any time. Transactional messages, such as security alerts and withdrawal confirmations, are not marketing and cannot be switched off while the account is active.

4. Intellectual property

The Matrix Edge name, logo, interface design, text, charts and software are owned by the platform or licensed to it, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You receive no rights in them beyond using the site as intended. Third-party names appearing on the site, such as payment brands and venue names, belong to their owners and appear for identification only, without affiliation or endorsement unless stated.

5. Confidentiality

Your account details, trading activity and communications with us are treated as confidential, handled under the Privacy Policy and the security practices described on the Security page. Equally, non-public information we share with you, such as strategy configurations or operational details, is given for your use and should not be published or redistributed. This clause survives the end of your use of the service.

6. Links to third-party sites

The site links to external resources for convenience, including regulators' public pages and payment providers. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data, and a link is not an endorsement of everything a linked site contains. Exercise the same care there that you would arriving from anywhere else, particularly where credentials or payments are involved.

7. Prohibited use

It is prohibited to use the site or service for any unlawful purpose; to transmit malware or attempt unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts; to infringe intellectual property rights; to send spam or engage in deliberate disruption of infrastructure; to use the platform for laundering criminal proceeds or financing prohibited activity; or to assist any third party in doing these things. Suspected prohibited use is investigated, and where confirmed leads to termination and, where required, reporting to the competent authorities.

8. Support

Support is provided by the Client Support and Compliance team during working hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 (AST), through the channels on the Contact page. Support covers platform operation, account questions and complaint handling; it does not constitute personalised investment advice, and no communication from support should be read as a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The site and platform are provided on an as-is basis. While we work to keep information accurate and systems available, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content remains current at every moment. Market data may be delayed, and nothing on the site is a promise of trading outcomes, which cannot be assured. These disclaimers do not limit anything that cannot be limited under the applicable law of Trinidad and Tobago.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matrix Edge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses arising from events outside our reasonable control, including third-party venue failures and market movements. Our aggregate liability for claims connected to the service is limited to the fees actually paid by you to the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Matrix Edge against losses arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misuse of the service, provided always that this indemnity does not apply to matters caused by our own conduct. In practice this clause is rarely engaged, and it exists to allocate responsibility fairly where a user's actions draw third-party claims against the platform.

Other provisions

These terms may be updated; the current version is always the one published on this page, and it takes effect from the moment the updated version is published. Material changes are additionally announced inside the platform or by email to registered users. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. These terms are governed by the applicable law of Trinidad and Tobago, without prejudice to mandatory protections available to consumers. Questions about any clause go to [email protected], and the complaint route on the Complaints page applies to disputes about these terms as it does to everything else.
